NEXUS AI / GRID PLANNER

New-connection quotes, without a Smallworld session.

Grid Planner lets utility staff design, price, and quote a new service connection in a web browser. A Smallworld project is created only once the customer says yes.

Today, quoting a new connection often means opening Smallworld, building a project, and pulling costs together by hand. Many of those projects never go ahead, and the design work and database clutter stay behind.

01

Design.

The user draws the extension on a map in a web browser.

02

Preview and save.

They review the layout and save it as a draft. Nothing is written to Smallworld yet.

03

Estimate.

Costs come from the utility's own pricing data in SAP or the ERP they already use, so every quote uses their current rates.

04

Quote.

They export a branded quote as a PDF and send it to the customer.

05

Customer declines.

Nothing is created in Smallworld, so there is no cleanup.

06

Customer accepts.

The user reopens the saved design and creates the Smallworld project from the browser. They do not open the Smallworld client.

  • Faster quotes. New-connection requests go from request to branded quote without a Smallworld session.
  • Fewer people per proposal. One person can design, price, and send a quote that used to need several roles.
  • Cleaner Smallworld data. Only approved work becomes a project.
  • Consistent pricing. Estimates use the utility's own ERP cost data, not spreadsheets or memory.

A 30-minute call and a live walkthrough — no pitch deck. Bring a recent new-connection request and we'll walk it from map to quote.
